On March 17 representatives of the EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly that are on an official visit to Armenia Vice President of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, MEP Knut Fleckenstein and Social democratic party of Georgia leader, MP Gia Jorjoliani met with ARF-D Supreme Council Chairman Aghvan Vardanyan, SC members Artsvik Minasyan and Lilit Galstyan, ARF-D Bureau member Giro Manoyan, EAFJD President Kaspar Karampetian and EAFJD Communications officer Bedo Demirdjian at the Supreme Council “Simon Vratsyan” premises in Yerevan.

Future cooperation and partnership relations were discussed during the meeting. Vardanyan briefed Fleckenstein and Jorjoliani about ARF-D activities. “We are glad to welcome our EURONEST partners to Armenia. I’m pleased to note that even after Armenia’s joining the Eurasian Economic Union, we can find common ground for cooperation with our European partners” said Vardanyan.

The interlocutors also discussed about important cooperation directives between the social democratic group of the European Parliament and ARF-D.
