(armenianweekly.com) WASHINGTON — An Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) delegation headed by ARF-D Bureau member Khatchig Mouradian met with Armenia’s President Serge Sargsyan.
ARF-D Eastern Region Central Committee Chair Hayg Oshagan and member Hovsep Avakian, and Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Executive Director Aram Hamparian were part of the delegation that engaged in an hour-long discussion of issues surrounding Armenia’s domestic concerns and foreign policy; the Syrian crisis, especially as it relates to Syrian Armenians; the Republic of Artsakh; a U.S.-Armenia Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA); and the Armenian Genocide Centennial commemorations in the U.S. and worldwide.
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandyan, Armenia’s Ambassador to the U.S. Tigran Sargsyan, and Chief of Staff Vigen Sargsyan took part in the meeting.
